Description

Ceramic beads or Zirblast are an alternative to glass beads.

Advantages of our ceramic bead LX 5100

These beads have higher hardness and impact resistance and longer life.

This leads to less dust and less waste. Ceramic gives the blasted surface a fine roughness, has only a minimal material decrease and only leads to a low wear of your blasting machine. This means less maintenance overall, which is why ceramic beads are a very popular abrasive.

Application

• Dry blasting (both pressure and injector blasting) and wet blasting.
• Cleaning, surface treatment and satin finishing or iron and non-ferrous surfaces without roughening.
• Cleaning and shot peening of, for example, rotors, turbine blades, molds.
